In this section, Denis Pugh makes an introduction about the role of the forearms when driving and pitching. The forearm has a different role when hitting a driver than when hitting the wedge. This is mostly because of the difference in the shape of the clubs. Also, the driver and the wedge have different angles and requirements during the swing.

In this section, Denis Pugh demonstrates the requirement of a driver which is speed. This is done by rotating the forearms which will help the release of the club through impact.

In this section, Denis Pugh demonstrates the requirement of a wedge which is control. Control on the wedge can be achieved by making sure that the loft is constant through the hitting area, keeping the back of the right wrist in a firm position and pushing forward with the forearm to avoid rolling the forearm during the entire golf swing and avoid hitting the ball on impact with a close club face.

In this section, Denis Pugh talks about pitching. In doing a pitch shot, it is necessary to keep the loft constant throughout the swing and put the loft into the ball while making sure that the back of the right hand and the right forearm itself and left forearm are not crossing over.
