In this section, Shawn
Clemens makes an introduction and talks about feeling the correct distance
between you and the golf ball. The important thing to remember when judging the
correct distance between you and the golf ball is not to take it in relation to
you hitting the golf ball. Practice swinging freely and determine where the
club bounces a bit onto the ground and adjust you distance from there while
making sure that the ball is on the way of your free wing.
In this section, Shawn
Clemens will teach you how to correctly judge the distance between you and the
golf ball. If you feel like you are extending your arms to reach the golf ball
then you are positioned too from it and if you feel that you have to move your
arms closer into the body to hit the ball then you are positioned too near to
the ball. By practicing on swinging freely and adjusting your position from
there while making sure that the ball is on the way of your free swing you will
be able to hit the ball solid on impact. On addressing the ball, it is also
important that you look at the ball and onto the target and get the feel of the
distance of the ball.
