In this section, Denis Pugh makes an introduction about pitching over a bunker. When you are in a situation where you are hitting the ball that is positioned with the bunker in both of its sides and with sand in front of it and the hole near the sand do not lose your nerve and treat it like all the shots that you have made earlier. Difficult bunker situations are a test of you mind and you simple have to let your mind calm down and trust in your technique.
In this section, Denis Pugh will talk about the difference between a professional golf player and an amateur golf player in pitching over a bunker. The professional will treat the shot as a routine shot and doing a standard pitch shot. On the other hand, an amateur will try to flick the wrist on the swing to try to lob the ball which guarantees a killer shot that is either fat or thin.
