In this section, Shawn Clement makes an introduction and talks about the two different structural integrity issues of the golf swing.

In this section, Shawn Clement will answer the common question of should the left elbow and arm stay straight or should it bend during the golf swing. Using a simple tool

(a slingshot), he will demonstrate what the left arm should do. Hold the slingshot with your left hand and pull the rubber with your right hand. Notice how the left hand stays straight and firm. On your backswing, this is exactly what your left arm should do. On the other hand, if you bend your left hand while holding the slingshot with your right hand pulling on the rubber, it will be very difficult to aim. This is also the same if your bend your left arm during the back swing.

In this section, Shawn Clement will talk about grip pressure. Using the same slingshot, take the brace off the slingshot and hold it like you did before with your left hand ramrod straight. This will tell you to hold on firmly to the club as you get into your swing. At address you should hold the club lightly but as you do your backswing and when you are about to hit the ball, tighten your grip so that it can release the energy and transfer it into the ball.

In this section, Shawn Clement will then demonstrate the techniques that he discussed on the previous two sections of this tutorial.
