David starts off by explaining chipping.
To setup for chipping, have the club follow the lifeline on your hand, remembering that you want the arm to have the control. Unlike a normal swing, you don't cock and release your hands during a chip. Once the grip is correct, place the ball in the rear of the stance. The during the swing the only thing that should move is the bend of the right elbow, bringing it in then out.
Pitching is different again mainly it is used for longer approaches, the grip is like that of a normal swing, allowing for the hands to roll and cock and for more power. The ball should be in the middle of your stance and keep the hands forward. Like the chip, the movement of the right elbow will be the source of the power, with the addition of cocking the wrists.
