In this section, Bobby Eldridge will teach you the first step on improving your chipping by using a 5 iron for the long chips shots, 7 iron for the medium chip shots and 9 iron for the short chip shots. He will then demonstrate making the different chip shots using these irons.
In this section, Bobby Eldridge will demonstrate the proper technique in making short chip shots by using a 9 iron, positioning the ball in the middle of your stance, putting a little bit of weight on the left leg, pushing the handle over to your left leg and lastly, making arm swing with a little chop on the club head.
In this section, Bobby Eldridge will demonstrate the technique on making medium chip shots by using a 7 iron and the same golf swing as in making short chip shots.
In this section, Bobby Eldridge will demonstrate the technique on making long chip shots by using a 5 iron and the same golf swing as in making short and medium chip shots.
In this section, Bobby Eldridge will tell you that if you are a playing in a mowed down golf course you can putt the ball when making short chip shots.
In this section, Bobby Eldridge will give you the last tip in improving your chip shots. When you are struggling on your chip shots you can use a 3 iron built like a wood club with a longer sole plate that will stop you from stabbing the golf ball.
