In this section, Denis Pugh makes an introduction on the short game. Playing the short game requires lots of skills, experience, knowledge and understanding what the clubs do and also having the right clubs in different situations.
In this section, Denis Pugh will teach you to improve your short game. First, you should start by measuring your own pitching wedge. You could either have 3 wedges with different lofts but you can also have 2 wedges which consist of the gap and the loft wedge. Have your wedges measured in the golf shop. The conventional gap in loft wedge is 53 and 58 degrees. When it comes to the shape of the club, you can use the T-series that has a teardrop shape or the R-series which is more rounded. It is also important to be custom club fitted.
