Simple Bunker ShotIn this tutorial, Denis Pug will teach you how to improve your bunker game by using a lofted club that has a front edge that is leaning forward and a back edge that produces a skipping effect into the sand. Opening the club face to the right and compensating by aiming you stance a little to the left will get the ball out of the sand effectively. Instead of banging on the sand just to get behind the ball, use the same swing you do when you are pitching. Do not try to hit the ball directly when doing a bunker shot, instead hit the sand behind the ball. By practicing you will be able to determine correctly how much sand you need to hit to not only get the ball out of the sand but also to get the ball nearer into the hole.
